Audrey

This past weekend we were busy with our daughter's First Holy Communion. We had family from both sides down to help us celebrate, and it was a gorgeous day!

Audrey was beautiful in her dress and veil. I was pretty happy about that since we waited until the 11th hour to find something for her to wear! (By the way, this would not come as a surprise to anyone who knows me well...) My mom had actually come to town two days earlier to help me construct the veil and take in the dress a bit.

I was very proud of her, and clearly, so was her little brother, Aidan!

I think she looks very reverent walking down the aisle here:

It's hard to see here, but we had to draw an "R" on her right hand so she wouldn't forget which one to make the sign of the cross with! :)

My neice, Sophie, looks like she is ready jump into that cake!
